Although we enjoy the challenge of constructing complex homes we are equally comfortable constructing smaller, budget conscious homes.
What to Expect
Designing your home should be an interactive process between homeowner, architect, engineer and builder. Selecting the right team will allow you to realize a home design that best suits your lifestyle and bank account. If you do not have an architect we would be pleased to help you find one that is sensitive to your needs and desires.

The Construction Process
We will meet on site to determine the scope of the project. If you have selected an architect, he or she would be most welcome at this time. After you have selected finishes materials and design specifications, we will organize an estimate of costs to aid you in your final selections as well as prepare a budget for your construction loan. We will coordinate and prepare the application for building permits and oversee the installation of roads and utilities.
Working closely with you and your architect we will begin construction, agreeing to any changes that may occur at this time, then proceed with the successful completion of your home. We will have regular meeting on-site to keep you apprised of progress, which will afford opportunities to discuss scheduling, selections and review design decisions as we proceed towards the successful completion of your home.
It is our experience that working closely with the client and architect results in an enjoyable and successful project.
Costs
I prefer negotiating a set fee for full project rather than a cost plus basis (which too often rewards the contractor for increased costs and lengthy scheduling). I am able to purchase materials and negotiate subcontractor fees to a preferable level based on my credit history and volume discounts. These savings are passed on to the client. You may expect to see your home completed in a surprisingly short period of time as well as realizing additional savings on materials, subcontractor fees and reduced construction interest payments.
